The Canadian band known as Bombora was formed in 2022 by brothers Isaiah and Brayden Rock. Isaiah and Brayden are from the Town of Amherstburg, just south of Windsor, Ontario.  Isaiah being the lead singer and guitarist along with Brayden on the drums have tapped into the unique genre of Modern Indie Pop Music. Both brothers are devoted servants of Christ and have a passion for furthering the Christian music industry by composing and performing Modern Christian Indy Pop Music.  

 

 

As defined (Wikipedia), Bombora is an Indigenous Australian term for an area of large sea waves breaking over a shallow area such as a rock shelf, reef or sand bank.  The size and shape of the Bombora waves makes them attractive to surfers willing to take the risk of riding what is generally considered a hazardous pursuit. As followers of Christ in a shallow and lost world, we seek to serve the greatest king, even though at times it may be dangerous. 

 

To us, God represents the giant Bombora wave that crashes through the sharp dangerous rocks and shallow reefs with such power that nothing can stop him. Isaiah and Brayden have decided that the rewards of being mocked and persecuted by their peers and the world by giving all the Glory to God through their music far outweigh the risks, and have chosen to use their talents to pursue a greater purpose in this life.  

 

We as the band Bombora want people to know that with all the things that are wrong with this world, that there is also a lot of good and happiness to be found through living for God and pursuing your dreams. 

 

We vitally seek to reach the next generation through our music, in hope that they too will give their lives to Christ and use their talents to further his kingdom. All that we are and all that we have belongs to God, so we choose to shine as the light of Christ here today, and everywhere else that we go.
